The Cabinet decided to hand over the works to Larsen Toubro and Pallomji companies at Rs 3,350 per sq feet to complete the works in four months.

Vijayawada: The State Cabinet on Monday decided to lay foundation for temporary secretariat works at Velagapudi village of Thulluru mandal in Guntur district on February 17 at 8.23 am. The Cabinet decided to hand over the works to Larsen Toubro and Pallomji companies at Rs 3,350 per sq feet to complete the works in four months.

Giving details of Cabinet meeting, Minister for Information Technology Palle Raghunatha Reddy said that the Cabinet had decided to cancel the bids quoted higher than Rs 500 per unit of sand. The Cabinet decided to continue the sand quarrying with self-help groups wherever the tenders were not finalised.

The Minister said that the cabinet had decided to form two revenue mandals, including Yetipaka in East Godavari and Kukkunur in West Godavari. He said that the Cabinet had decided to allot 2,740 acres to develop industrial hub in Kurnool district. Two acres would be allotted for natural disaster quick response force at Kapuluppada village near Bhimili.
