Former MLC KS Laxman Rao called upon the aspirants appearing for the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) exam to focus on pursuing simple techniques for a decent score.

He was speaking at a meeting organised by the MB Vignana Kendram and Rotary Club Vijayawada Mid Town Vijayawada here on Tuesday. Laxman Rao stressed on practicing reasoning and arithmetic concepts which helps to score good in the examination.

About 330 candidates across the city has been attending one month coaching period started from February 1, he said. The Student Organisations DYFI and SFI are providing free coaching with a motive of supporting unemployed youth from backward classes to crack down the RRB examination for the recently announced 18,000 posts.

Staff from eminent institutions was also taking sessions to the aspirants. He wanted all the aspirants to make best use of the session and nail job in the recruitment drive conducted by the State and Central Governments.

Later, he along with Rotary Mid Town Vijayawada president J Srinivas Rao distributed RRB study materials to the students at free of cost. Retired vice-principal of Andhra Loyola College S P Rama Raju, MB Vignana Kendram Managing Committee, Secretary, P Murali Krishna, SFI district president T Praveen and other faculty were also present on the occasion.
