The AP Congress Committee (APCC) is all set to move to the capital region. The party had set up its State headquarters in the ground floor of the historical Andhra Ratna Bhavan here and is set to start its operations from February 19.

Vijayawada: The AP Congress Committee (APCC) is all set to move to the capital region. The party had set up its State headquarters in the ground floor of the historical Andhra Ratna Bhavan here and is set to start its operations from February 19.

AICC general secretary Digvijay Singh and senior leader in-charge of AP affairs Thirunavukkarasu, besides others, are set to inaugurate the APCC office on the said date. The leaders are also planning for a four-day long activity in the city including the extended executive committee meeting, the party coordination committee meeting, training programme for the SC, ST, BC and minorities.

The four-day programme, according to the APCC general secretary, S N Raja, would help revival of the party. He said, at a press conference here on Tuesday, that the party senior leaders would stay here for four days and interact with the cadre give them required support to rebuild the party from grassroots.
