Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu along with advisor for IT J A Chowdary, met the Executive Chairman of Ciscco, John Chambers, here on Tuesday to explore the possibilities of the networking major setting up a development centre in Andhra Pradesh. 

New Delhi: Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu along with advisor for IT J A Chowdary, met the Executive Chairman of Ciscco, John Chambers, here on Tuesday to explore the possibilities of the networking major setting up a development centre in Andhra Pradesh.

They also disuccsed the possibilities of setting of Cisco School of Excellence in the State. Cisco is already working on its first smart city concept in partnership with Paradigm-Mtuity. The concept is named Golden Mile project.

Cisco is also exploring the possibilities of using Cisco Technologies in the new capital of Amaravati.Minister of Civil Aviation Ashok Gajapati Raju, Special Representative of the AP government in Delhi Kambhampati Rama Mohana Rao, Secretary of Energy department Ajai Jain, and President of Cisco India and SAARC Region Dinesh Malkani attended the meeting.
