Jagan flayed over toppling down government threat

Devineni dubs it ‘day dreaming’

Vijayawada: In a sharp reaction to the statement of the YSRCP leader Y S Jaganmohan Reddy that he would pull down the government soon, the Minister for Water Resources Devineni Uma Maheswara Rao and others said that Jagan continues to day dream.

Speaking to The Hans India, Rao said Jagan’s statement reflects his frustration that he could not become the Chief Minister of the State. “I have never seen a leader of opposition, who says that he would topple a duly elected government. His statement only reflects his immature attitude and indicates that his sole objective was to come to power by resorting to undemocratic means,” he added.

Lambasting Jagan, the Minister said, “As a leader of opposition he had failed on all counts in playing any constructive role. His day dreams would not come true and it reflects his political immaturity.”Minister for Panchyat Raj Ayyanna Patrudu said that the open statement that Jagan would bring down an elected government shows his party’s evil designs that they somehow want to come to power and loot the State.

Minister for Medical and Health Minister Kamineni Srinivasa Rao said that Jagan is always in search of shortcuts. “People have given five years mandate to the government. If he has to do what he has said, then he will have to resort to buying MLAs.

That shows how YSRCP wants to resort to all kind of corrupt practices to come to power. This attitude is also reflected in his channel celebrating defections of Telugu Desam MLAs in Telangana to TRS,” he added. Agriculture Minister Pattipati Pulla Rao said, “The YSRCP Chief is under stress and fear of losing his own MLAs to TDP. So, he is trying to keep his flock together by making such baseless statements. His dreams will never be fulfilled, he said.
