The Left parties are planning to organise a bus rally from February 20 to March 5 demanding special package to Rayalaseema region.
Vijayawada: The Left parties are planning to organise a bus rally from February 20 to March 5 demanding special package to Rayalaseema region.
Speaking to media persons here on Friday CPI State secretary K Ramakrishna and CPM State secretariat member YV Rao said that Rayalaseema region is being neglected by the government despite of assurance in AP State Reorganisation Act.
The left party leaders said that the TDP government has been repeating the same mistake and concentrating development at one place in Amaravati region.
They said that people of Rayalaseema are suffering due to lack of drinking water and the government failed to give priority for irrigation projects in the region. They demanded funds worth Rs 5,000 crore to complete the pending irrigation projects.
