A Two-day workshop on Advances in Digital Signal Processing was inaugurated at MVGR College of Engineering in Vizianagaram on Friday. Dr N Balaji, Prof and  HoD, Department of ECE, JNTU, Vizianagaram, was the chief guest.  

Vizianagaram: A Two-day workshop on “Advances in Digital Signal Processing” was inaugurated at MVGR College of Engineering in Vizianagaram on Friday. Dr N Balaji, Prof and HoD, Department of ECE, JNTU, Vizianagaram, was the chief guest.

Dr KVL Raju, Principal, MVGR College of Engineering, conveners of the workshop Dr DK Mohantha, Prof Dr R Ramana Reddy, Prof G Manoj spoke. In all, 350 students from various engineering colleges attended the workshop.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr N Balaji said that this is a useful platform to bring students from various academic institutions to learn, interact and share their ideas on advances in the field of digital signal processing and technologies.

He delivered a keynote address on real-time embedded application using digital signals. Dr KVL Raju emphasised the need for continuous learning and up gradation of knowledge for the students which in turn enriches the competence of the students.

He also stressed the importance of digital signal processing in the fields of biomedical instrumentation and their applications.
