With the theme ‘Startup India, Stand-up India, Make dreams come true’, the annual national level techno management fest of KL University in Vaddeswaram ‘Samyak-2916’ is all set to begin from February 25.

The two day event that is followed by the celebration of University day on February 27 called Surabhi will be inaugurated by Padmabushan A V Rama Rao, Chairman of AVRA Labs, Hyderabad and General Manager of Bharat Electronics Limited T N Ramesh.

Addressing the newspersons here at their administrative office, Colleges Vice president K Raja Hareen and the convener of the event cum Dean of R and D at University K L Narayana said that there will be extensive activities from technical, non-technical, cultural and literary activities that were spread out for every department.

About 150 events are lined up for the fest, which will be attended by the students of other Universities from across the country. Food, accommodation and transport facilities are all arranged by the University for participants during the two days.

Further elaborating on it, they mentioned that eminent personalities will participate in the event where a guest speaker will deliver inspirational message to the youngsters.

Young entrepreneur M Jeevan Chowdary of Shoppers Express will take a session on the inauguration of the programme while famous lyricist Jonnavithula will perform a concert.

Followed on the second day of the event, prize distribution for winners of various activities will be given away. Students and visitors will be treated to a live performance of singer Siddharth Mahadevan.

Director of AP State Skill Development Corporation K Lakshmi Narayana and director for Centre for Materials and Electronics Technology R N Muniratnam will participate in the University day Surabhi.

Pro vice chancellor A V S Prasad, Convener and head of the department of CSE V Srikanth, chief student coordinator P Sai Pradeep and others were present during the meet.
