TDP MLA Bonda Uma questions the need of by-elections

Questioning the need of by-elections, TDP MLA Bonda Umamaheshwara Rao on Wednesday spoke to the media in Vijayawada where he said that as the MLAs from YSR Congress party are joining TDP for development, there is no need to go for by-elections.

When quizzed about the YSRCP MLAs defection to TDP, the TDP MLA said those who joined the party for their constituencies’ development have the confidence to achieve it only under the leadership of Chandrababu Naidu. Bonda Uma further added that the MLAs who changed parties are the ones to decide whether by-polls should be conducted for their defections or not.
