Art training program for SKCV students
The Cultural Center of Vijayawada (CCV) has organised a one-day art training program for schoolchildren at SKCV Children’s Village, Bhavanipuram here on Thursday. SKCV trust chairman Dr A Sridhar Reddy formally inaugurated the event.

Eminent Artist and vice president of Vijayawada Art Society Suneel Kumar taught the basic techniques to be followed in practicing an art form on canvas. Around 20 students huddle around him, watching with bated breath.
Speaking on the occasion, Suneel said “I find that there are very few spaces which allow children to celebrate a higher aesthetic sense. I thought that through the art training program I will be able to explore this.”
About 25 paintings drawn by the children were put on a display on the premises after the completion of the training program. Certificates will be distributed to the children in a program to be held on March 5, said CEO of Cultural Center of Vijayawada.
