AP ICET scheduled for May 16

Visakhapatnam: The Andhra Pradesh Integrated Common Entrance Test -2016 for admission into professional courses of MBA and MCA received 55,000 applications online on the last date (without late fee) on Saturday. The entrance test will be conducted on May 16, between 10 am to 12.30 pm in 17 regional centres across the State.

• 55,000 candidates apply online till March 5 and they can apply till May 9 with appropriate late fee and other charges

Talking to reporters here on Saturday, In-charge Vice Chancellor of Andhra University Prof E A Narayana informed that those who failed to send applications before the last date of March 5, could send the same with a late fee of Rs 500 plus registration charges of Rs 350 up to March 15, with a late fee of Rs 2,000 plus registration fee of Rs 350 up to March 24, with a late of Rs 5,000 plus registration fee of Rs 350 up to March 31 and with a late fee of Rs 10,000 plus registration fee of Rs 350 up to May 9.

Candidates could rectify the mistakes if any in their applications on March 19 and the hall tickets could be downloaded from www.apiect.net.in from April 20 onwards, he added. APICET-2016 Convener Prof K Rama Mohana Rao stating that management education has its own prominence now-a-days in view of ‘Make in India’ and ‘Start-Ups’, informed that the ICET rank holders will get the admission in MBA course being offered by Dr B R Ambedkar Open University and Andhra University Distance Education.

He asked the candidates to utilise the opportunity of sending applications with late fee and the primary key will be released on May 19. Objections will be received up to May 23 and the final results (ranks) will likely be announced on May 27, he added.
