The AP Assembly witnessed a war of words between the ruling and opposition party over the AP Capital Amaravati land scam.

Following the violation of AP legislative Assembly rules and regulations on Wednesday, YSRCP members have been suspended for the remaining part of the day. Assembly Speaker Kodela Siva Prasada Rao announced the suspension after the party members surrounded the Speaker's podium demanding CBI enquiry on the Amaravati land scam. The names of the YSRCP members who were suspended were read out by the AP Legislative Affairs minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu.
