Ranging from paper work to art and craft, handicrafts and music instrument, there are more than 25 courses one can choose from. The summer camps are opening opportunities for young and adults alike.

While the courses designed for children are aimed to infuse logical thinking and educate them with the help of entertainment, the vocational training for unemployed educated youth and women have been scheduled such that they learn the art and eke out a living.

Some of the courses that are available in the city are Yoga, art of living and Pranayama for health conscious and spiritual people. Painting, drawing, Photoshop designing, pencil shading, paper quilling, 3D designing (Basic), best out of waste products are among a few courses for children who like colors and figures.

For some who are interested in arts, acting skills, Bharatanatyam, Kuchipudi, Vocals, Guitar, Violin, Tabla and Keyboard are some interesting hobbies one can work on.

Some enticing courses for girls are Mehendi application, saree painting, glass painting, embroidery and tailoring, fabric designing and beautician courses. Meanwhile kids of primary classes are looking out for introduction to robotics, clay modeling, designing with clay, coloring, and more.

Director of Kaladarshini, Fr D Ravi Sekhar speaking about their summer camps said, “There are a good number of takers for both dance and music courses which run for a period of one month. Courses usually start from the first of May and a certificate will be issued to the candidate who fulfils the summer course criteria. The number of people enrolling in the courses is also on rise,” he said.

Organisers of the summer special camps are leaving no stone unturned to ensure that they lure children to their camps. They have set up special play arenas and fun zone to keep them enthralled. Most of them are all set to start their courses from April.
