Mega job fair at MVR College of Engineering and Technology tomorrow

MVR College of Engineering and Technology is hosting a mega job fair for students at its campus in Paritala on Saturday. A poster regarding the event was released by the College chairman Muthavarapu Srinivas Babu and Principal Dr PV Nagaanjaneyulu here on Thursday.

Talking to the news men on the occasion, Muthavarapu Srinivas Babu said that candidates, who have completed their BTech, MTech, MCA, MSc (computers), and MBA courses between 2014 and 2016, are eligible to appear for the job fair. In all, 15 national and international companies will participate in the off-campus placement drive providing an employment opportunity to hundreds of students.

The recruiting companies include Amazon, Tech Mahendra, Just Dial, Hinduja Global Services among others 700-800 students in the job fair. “We are expecting 3,000 students to participate in the job fair from in and around the Capital region,” he said.

College Training and Placement Officer Dr G Kishore said that based on the performance of the students in written test, group discussion and interview conducted by the respective companies they were recruited in to the companies. The companies would give away the call letters to the recruited candidates taking their skills and capability in to consideration during the interview, he said.

Candidates should attend the job fair along with their resume, qualification certificates (original and Xerox copies) and ten passport size photographs. Registration fee is Rs 200.

A minimum salary package around 1.7 lakh to 3.2 lakh per year is offered by the companies depending on the candidate’s talent. For further details regarding the enrollment of their names for the job fair interested students can visit the college website www.mvrcoe.ac.in, he added.
