AP Assembly opens debate on Roja suspension

The discussion began on the Privilege Committee report stating that the suspension of YSRCP MLA Roja for one year be continued in AP Assembly after MLA Sivaji moved the motion for a debate. The MLA further said that all the institutions should abide by the Constitution adding that the rules and regulations ruling conduct in the Assembly should be adopted even by the new members.

During the discussion, TDP MLA Anitha, however, turned emotional and faulted MLA Roja's behaviour. Criticizing Opposition leader YS Jagan Mohan Reddy for supporting Roja, the TDP MLA alleged that MLA Roja is faking her tears.
