Members of State wide Sobhan syndicate observed the 8th death anniversary of veteran film actor Sobhan Babu at his bronze statue located at Andhra Patrika circle, Gandhinagar here on Sunday.
Members of State wide Sobhan syndicate observed the 8th death anniversary of veteran film actor Sobhan Babu at his bronze statue located at Andhra Patrika circle, Gandhinagar here on Sunday.
Speaking on the occasion, State wide Sobhan Syndicate president Kallepalli Madhusudhan Rao said that Sobhan Babu was the only actor who gracefully retired from his acting career after a certain point despite demand in the market. The veteran actor worked with almost every top actress and has had a special place among the female audience, he said.
Madhusudhan Rao also recalled the roles played by the veteran actor in movies like ‘Veerabhimanyu’, ‘Manavudu-Danavudu’, ‘Punyavathi’, ‘Chellelikapuram’, ‘Gorintaku’ and ‘Swayamvaram’ and has thus remained in the hearts of Telugu people, till date.
