Moulding charecters and personalities of children through camps

A summer camp, aimed at moulding the character and overall personality of children, has been planned at eleven centres by Chinmaya Mission in Vijayawada. The summer camps will be held at the centres from April 25 to May 4, every day from 7.30 am to 12 noon.

In a press release here on Tuesday, C Sowmya, secretary of Chinmaya Mission said that Chinmaya Yuva Kendra, will organise summer camp, titled ‘A Patriotic Camp for Children’ for schoolchildren in the age group of 7 to 14 years. The 11-day camp will involve workshops, classes on yoga, values, chants, stories, games, heritage and crafts.

The venues for the summer camps will be at Chinmaya Swarna Prabha at Dasarivari Street in Suryaraopet, Chinmaya Dhyana Mandiram at Ramavarappadu, Maddi Subba Rao English Medium High School in One Town, Chinmaya Vihar, New Bhanu Apartments in Mogahalrajpuram, Sri Krishna Dhyana Mandir, MIG 2 Blocks, Bhavanipuram near HB Colony, RSS State Office, Madhav Sadhan, Governorpet, Mahitha Public School, Balaji Nagar, Krishnalanka, Ravindra Bharathi Public School, BRP Road, One Town, Bayyana Kanakadurgamma Spiritual Center, Chitti Nagar, Ranga Bomma Center, Gollapudi and Brilliant High School, Veterinary Colony.

Students can register themselves by paying a fee of Rs 200 and they get a summer camp kit. There are limited seats at each center and only if sufficient number of students gather for a particular camp it will be conducted there.
