The citizens who are deprived of adventure activities in the vicinity are now lining up to experience the thrill of viewing the city from the sky level through Parasailing. New to the city, Parasailing which has been open for public at the Bhavani Island is a hot spot for youngsters who yearn for some adrenaline rush.

Parasailing by Champion Yacht Club, a company that is popular for water sports in India is the much sought after activity among the other facilities they provide at the Island. Undeterred by the exorbitant pricing is the city youth who are going the experience anyway. With the help of a motor boat, the person who is armed with a life guard and parachute will sent gliding through the air while being towed by the boat.

“Among other activities, Parasailing is the one in demand irrespective of weekdays or leisure. We have large number of young girls as well, who are interested in it. While some other facilities like Banana boat, Jet Sky are opted by families and individuals, Parasailing remains on the top. About 150 feet from sea level is generally allowed and we charge Rs 900 for the experience per person,” added executive officer at the Club, G Sriranga Sai.

Jithendra Kankipati, an enthusiast who was spotted preparing for the experience shared, “I had an experience when I visited Goa a few years ago. But, I am thrilled to view river Krishna and its surroundings from sky. For people who wish to have an experience like it, money wouldn’t matter.”
