The Comptroller and Auditor-General report released on the finances of the state in the State Assembly on Wednesday found that the funds have been diverted to some other purpose by the State Government. The report stated that the funds have been used in discretion by the TDP government rather than for the purpose.
Pointing in particular towards the irrigation projects, the CAG report found 43% inflation attributing to the profligacy of the State government. Also, the report said that TDP government in the first year (2014-15) did not place the allocations according to the determined priorities and had spent the Rs 12.61 crore to Girijan areas that were actually allocated for Aadhar Cards.
