Chess tournament on Sunday

City-based Global Chess Academy is hosting Sub Junior’s Rapid Chess Tournament for children below the age group of 15 at its academy, Moghalrajpuram from 10 am on Sunday.

Announcing the tournament, Academy secretary Sk Khasim said “Top two players in the tournament of various age group will be selected for one month free intensive summer chess coaching camp at the academy from May 1.

Special prizes will be given for the children under-7, under-9 and under-11 age groups. Interested candidates should bring their own chess sets and clocks along with them. For registration one can contact the organisers on 9849 5141 38.”
