Record MNC job offers for ALIET students

As many as 144 students of Andhra Loyola Institute of Engineering and Technology (ALIET) secured jobs in eighteen MNC’s through campus placement in the last three months, the college’s director Rev Francis Xavier said on Thursday.

Commenting on placements, Francis Xavier said “The task of preparing all the students for placements and job interviews is no small one for the faculty. The ALIET has given a new thrust to its placement activities by starting various novel activities. The college has taken up the task of giving all the skills necessary to its students in their bid to excel in campus interviews.”

“ALIET has become a member of Oracle Academy and shortly we would also partner with Microsoft for the purpose of imparting soft skills training to students. From this academic year, the soft skill training will be imparted to all the first year students. Four trainees have been appointed by the management to train students and make them industry ready. Students of almost all courses will be covered under this.

As part of its mission to reach out to more students, faculty exchange program was introduced in the college for the first time this year, where faculty from Loyola-ICAM College of Engineering and Technology, Chennai rendered special classes to impart soft skills among the students,” he said.

“Nearly 18 reputed companies have conducted on-campus and off-campus placements for the ALIET students in this academy year to tap its young talent. The companies include TCS, Infosys, Samsung, Mphasis, Capgemini, KJ Systems and VEE Technologies,” says college placement officer Edward J Bear.
