Need to conserve water stressed through dance

SIMS College of Nursing students today conducted a flash mob under the banner Hoopla-2016, at B R Stadium Complex, NTR Stadium Complex in Guntur. They explained need to conserve water through the dance city on Friday.

Holding placards, the nursing students performed group dance and explained need to conserve water. The dance performance attracted the mob. They explained the need to protect falling ground water tables and take steps to protect ground water.

They urged people not to waste water. They stressed on need to dig rain water harvesting pits to recharge ground water levels. They also took out a rally to explain the need to conserve water. Over 50 nursing colleges of SIMS participated in the programme.
