One dies in wall collapse
One died in wall collapse at Gowthami Nagar locality in the town, here on Sunday. However, the exact reason for the wall collapse is not ascertained by the police so far, the incident remained a mystery.
Madanapalli: One died in wall collapse at Gowthami Nagar locality in the town, here on Sunday. However, the exact reason for the wall collapse is not ascertained by the police so far, the incident remained a mystery. The deceased was identified as Subramanyam (55) who was alone, as his wife was away on some work, when the wall was collapsed and fell on him around 1 pm.
He was cleaning the area under a thatched shed attached to the house when the incident took place. The neighbours, who were alerted after hearing a deafening sound, came rushing only to find Subramanayam caught under the debris lying dead. It was first suspected that LPG cylinder blast caused the wall collapse, but with the LPG cylinder found remaining intact in the house, police are investigating the cause of the wall collapse which is still to be known. CI Hanumatha Naik inspected the house. A case has been registered.
