Artists awarded for excellence in their field

He also stated that these awards will inspire artists to serve with more zeal in their respective fields.
Retired Income tax commissioner Ajaykumar from service field, police official Vemuri Nageswara Sarma from drama field, Music College principal Govindarajan from music field and young classical dancer Maddali Sai Chandika were selected for these awards by vemula charities.
Municipal Corporation Mayor Koneru Sridhar said that the awardees are well known in their respective fields and deserved to have these awards. He also hailed the Vemula charities for rendering service to the society.
Earlier a classical dance was performed by Maddali Sai Chandrika and mono action by Vemuri Nageswara Sarma. Vemula Hazarataiah Gupta and Chivukula Hara Gopal conducted the programme.
