Union Minister of State for Science & Technology Sujana Chowdary got partial relief as the Hyderabad High Court dismissed the Nampally court's verdict against him where he got issued with a non-bailable arrest(NBA) for not attending the court. The petition filed by the legal team of the Union Minister mentioned that he is busy with the official works appealing to cancel the NBA against him.

Nampally court on Thursday issued a non-bailable warrant against the Minister in connection with a case filed by a Mauritius-based bank for alleged default of repayment of the loan. But the Hyderabad High Court gave him nine days postponement for appearance before the Nampally court from April 26 to May 5.

While the case against Sujana Chowdary pertains to Sujana Universal Industries Ltd being the guarantee to its subsidiary that guarantee to its subsidiary but the Minister said that he is not having any share in it, hence wants the on-bailable warrant filed against be quashed.
