While Hyderabad recording a scorching 43ºC on Wednesday, the highest temperature recorded in the city in 43 years, other places in Telangana too recorded temperatures between 40ºC and 45ºC. The heat wave conditions are continuing to prevail over Nizamabad, Ranga Reddy, Karimnagar, Khammam, Nalgonda and Medak districts.

Coming to AP, the maximum temperature recorded was 48.9ºC at Tallaproddutur in Kadapa district and Srisailam in Kurnool district at 48.8ºC with Kadapa at 44ºC, Kurnool 44.3ºC and Anantapur 43.1ºC. So far, Wednesday has been the hottest day in the state in April. The heat wave is expected to continue for the coming three days in all the regions of Rayalaseema.
