Expedite CM-assured projects, officials told
District Collector Dr N Yuvaraj has asked the officials to expedite the projects which were marked top priority by CM N Chandrababu Naidu. Speaking at a review meeting in this regard, he said that top priority has been given for the development of 23 roads between Sabbavaram and Sheelanagar, Duvvada Railway Station and Lankelapalem, Vepagunta and Pinagadi and Visakha Valley School Road.

Speaking at a review meeting in this regard, he said that top priority has been given for the development of 23 roads between Sabbavaram and Sheelanagar, Duvvada Railway Station and Lankelapalem, Vepagunta and Pinagadi and Visakha Valley School Road linking Bhimili-Visakhapatnam Beach Road.
Regarding sports and games related projects, the Collector said that the Chief Minister wanted to make the city a hub of sports activities and accordingly, he sanctioned Archery Academy, sports school for tribal children and regional sport complex under the management of Sports Authority of Andhra Pradesh-all the three to be located at Araku Valley.
The sports complex alone was estimated to cost around Rs 100 crore. Similarly, the Collector immediately sought a detailed project report for another sports complex which is planned to come up in an area of 70 acres in Gandigundam.
