Actress Trisha Krishnan was in the city to inaugurate NAC Jewellers on M G Road on Friday. Trisha, who is their ambassador waved to the gathering before she took a quick look at the collections spread across 6890 square feet.

Talking about the jewelry she said that NAC comes up with innovative jewelry line-up and are pretty famous for the bridal jewelry. Also, their designs for the Telugu epic Rudramadevi are also fantastic, she added.
Trisha recollected her memories with the city when she took part in a few sequences for film Krishna, starring Ravi Teja. ''It was so long ago I came here and now I see Vijayawada progress'', she said.
The showroom's Managing Director Anantha Padmanabhan and Director Ananda Ramanujam speaking on their showroom said that they have the credit of designing authentic traditional jewelry with contemporary twist for needs of the older and younger generation for over many decades.
''We are more than happy to launch our showroom in a city from Andhra Pradesh. We believe women here have a great taste for jewelry and NAC lives upto it.''
