As a part of the 28th Annual celebrations of Swarajhari cultural organisation, a talented violin performer and retired Music College lecturer Palaparthi Nageswara Rao was felicitated.
“Talent will be flourished with gentleness. If gentleness becomes a person that would be Palaparthi Nageswara Rao” said the renowned musician Annavarapu Ramaswamy in the concluding day function being organised by Swarajhari, on Thursday at Ghantasala Venkateswara Rao Government Music and Dance College.
As a part of the 28th Annual celebrations of Swarajhari cultural organisation, a talented violin performer and retired Music College lecturer Palaparthi Nageswara Rao was felicitated. On this occasion Annavarapu Ramaswamy said that his disciple Palaparthi is a well talented artiste and Nageswara Rao is liked by all musicians because of his obedience.
He also said that Palaparthi will read the minds of the main performer and render his violin support. Founder and secretary of Swarajhari Modumudi Sudhakar said that Nageswara Rao was an exemplar violinist.
He also hailed that Palaparthi never threw his ego around considering him being a senior violinist. Another musician Vishnubhotla Lakshmi said that Nageswara Rao is a guide for all the musicians. Much information related to music can be learnt from him.
While replying to felicitation Palaparthi humbly dedicated the honors to the music and to his teachers and parents. Music College Principal Govindarajan and president of Swarajhari TS Ramachandra Rao were also present on the event.
After the felicitation, Palaparthi Nageswara Rao proved his talent on his violin solo. Nageswara Rao performed keerthanas in the ragas like Khamas, Amruta Varshini, goula and Keeravani. The concert was ably supported by Parupalli Subbaraya Palgun on mrudangam and Haribabu on ghatam.
