Two people lost their lives and eight others suffered grave injuries when firecrackers allegedly stored in a house caught fire and exploded in Visakhapatnam on Monday.
The incident occurred in Guruvam village of Srikakulam district. According to locals, loud explosions were heard before they rushed in to help. The injured including three women were rushed to a hospital nearby. Police suspected that the firecrackers were being illegally manufactured and stored in the house.
