AP Govt to distribute butter milk to beat the heat

In the wake of the severe heat conditions prevailing across the state, the AP government has decided to distribute buttermilk packets to the public without any charge.

This decision was taken in the Cabinet meet held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu in Vijayawada on Monday. The drinking water centers that have been set up for the summer to supply water to the public will additionally distribute Buttermilk sachets free of cost. The state government has also finalized the proposal of setting up air-conditioned centers near hospitals, markets, railway and bus stations for which it would cost about Rs three crores.
