Sujatha gets first rank as Minister, Uma comes 2nd

Ahead of the maiden reshuffle of the State Cabinet expected in June, Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Monday ranked the Ministers based on their performance.
Vijayawada: Ahead of the maiden reshuffle of the State Cabinet expected in June, Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Monday ranked the Ministers based on their performance.
The grading has been done on the basis reports he had obtained on the overall performance of the Ministers and their popularity among the people. Surprising all the Ministers, Naidu announced the rankings at the marathon Cabinet meeting.
He rated the work of not only the Ministers but also the MLAs. The TDP national general secretary, N Lokesh, is learnt to have played a prominent role in gathering the inputs about the workmanship of Ministers and MLAs.
According to the list, Mining Minister Peethala Sujatha has been placed at No. 1 position while Municipal Administration Minister P Narayana, who has been playing key role in land pooling was placed at rank 19.
Among the parameters that were taken into accound while rating them was the efforts efforts to achieve greater coordination between the government and the party.
“If Sujatha has been given first rank, she has got this as she held several meetings with party leaders and cadres to achieve coordination between the party and government,” said source.
Agriculture Minister Prathipati Pulla Rao, who has also been playing a prominent role in land pooling and capital city development, got third position whereas Irrigation Minister Devineni Uma Maheswara Rao has been given No. 2 position.
Health Minister Kamineni Srinivas of BJP, has been ranked fourth followed by Paritala Sunitha (5), Ravela Kishore Babu (6), K Atchnnaidu (7), Ganta Srinivasa Rao (8), Kollu Ravindra (9), Ch Ayyannapathrudu (10) and Palle Raghunadha Reddy (11).
Coming to the ranks given to MLAs, Mandapeta MLA Vegulla Jogeswara Rao is learnt to have got first rank whereas Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has been placed at 79th position in the list of party legislators in the order of their performance.
