Lashing out at the TDP government's negligence in dealing with the drought hit villages in the CRDA region, Ambati said that Chandrababu recently announced Rs 200 crores towards the water supply through tankers and repair of bore wells across the 13 districts in the state, thus ridiculing the failure of the Chief Minister to foresee the diminishing water resources.
The YSRCP leader further alleged that the Rs 200 crores would be misused by the TDP leaders in the name of public schemes. He also mocked Chandrababu's NTR Sujala Sravanthi scheme by stating that no household has received the 20 litres water at Rs.2 as promised so far. Ambati even took on the newly introduced Rs 39 crore buttermilk scheme for the poor by calling it a scam to benefit Nara Lokesh, Heritage Foods and the TDP workers.
