AICC member and senior Congress leader Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy, unhappy with the allocation of Telangana PCC posts has handed over his resignation from all the party posts on Wednesday.

Forwarding his resignation from the PCC executive and coordination committee to PCC chief Uttam Kumar Reddy and senior leader Shabbir Ali, Ponguleti alleged that he was not consulted while allocating the posts despite being a senior party leader and said that Uttam Kumar Reddy allocated the PCC posts in a unilateral and dictatorial manner.
He added that while the party positions were being allocated from Khammam district, only Malli Bhatti Vikramarka and Renuka Chowdary were consulted. It is learnt that senior leader Shabbir Ali tried to convince Ponguleti and not to take any hasty decision.
