New substations were constructed in the constituency to solve the low voltage problem in the rural areas and to provide qualitative power, said Eluru MLA Badeti Kota Rama Rao. He inaugurated the power substation that was constructed with Rs 1.40 crore at Sunkaravarithota area in Venkatapuram panchayat on Wednesday.  

Eluru: New substations were constructed in the constituency to solve the low voltage problem in the rural areas and to provide qualitative power, said Eluru MLA Badeti Kota Rama Rao. He inaugurated the power substation that was constructed with Rs 1.40 crore at Sunkaravarithota area in Venkatapuram panchayat on Wednesday.

He said the substation construction was completed within four months after laying foundation stone. The MLA planted saplings at the substation compound. APEPDCL superintending engineer Satyanarayana Reddy, Eluru MPP Reddi Anuradha, ZPTC member Matta Rajeswari, Venakatapuram sarpanch Cherukuri Deepit Usha, EPDCL AE Ambedkar and others participated in the programme.
