Visakhapatnam: Andhra University authorities have deployed a four-member team of assistant professor rank as observers to Narsipatnam on Thursday where the second year degree chemistry question paper was leaked to ensure free, fair and smooth conduct of remaining examinations.

According to the primary investigation report, the paper was leaked from Rushi Degree College, Narsipatnam from a Xerox shop located close to the college. The observers visited all the four colleges on Thursday well before the beginning of the exam and checked each and every thing as per the university guidelines.

However, the exam centre at Rushi Degree College has been shifted to the Government Degree College, hence the candidates, who allotted Rushi Degree College as the centre, will write the remaining exams at the new centre. The four-member observer team includes Dr Ali, Dr V Hari Babu, Dr P R R Prasad and Dr Mahankali, all are working in Andhra University.

When contacted, Dr Hari Babu told The Hans India that the exam was conducted on Thursday sans any hindrance at Narsipatnam and two members also visited Chodavaram test centres also.
