YSR Congress to meet President over party defections
YSRCP Chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Monday left for Delhi along with his party leaders to meet President Pranab Mukherjee, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Rajnath Singh.
YSRCP Chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Monday left for Delhi along with his party leaders to meet President Pranab Mukherjee, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Rajnath Singh. The party leaders will hold discussions over the ruling TDP party's involvement in encouraging defections from the YSR Congress party with money and positions of power. Also, AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu's unethical political practices will be raised.
YS Jagan on Saturday met Governor ESL Narasimhan in Hyderabad where he explained the ruling TDP ways in engineering defections in Andhra Pradesh along with the kickbacks from the corrupt deals being used to get the Opposition MLAs to defect. An awareness drive 'Save Democracy’, was launched by the party to highlight the TDP government's failures and misdeeds across the state.
