​Vijayawada: Karuna Gopal, president of Foundation for Futuristic Cities, has said that Amaravati, the new capital of Andhra Pradesh, can be developed as a world-class smart city as it has begun from the scratch. She said the new city has the considerable advantage over other Indian cities to be developed as a smart city due to an availability of technology and planning.

She along with Chandan Chowdhury, managing director- India, Dassault Systems showcased the 3D Experience city solution on how to build a world class city with all infrastructure facilities and greenery.
