Ushakiran School celebrated its silver jubilee on a grand note here on Tuesday. Legislative Council Deputy Chairman Sathish Reddy, who participated as the chief guest, lit the lamp and inaugurated the celebrations. Speaking on the occasion, he lauded the role of the teachers in the school’s successful journey so far. 

Vempalle (Kadapa): Ushakiran School celebrated its silver jubilee on a grand note here on Tuesday. Legislative Council Deputy Chairman Sathish Reddy, who participated as the chief guest, lit the lamp and inaugurated the celebrations. Speaking on the occasion, he lauded the role of the teachers in the school’s successful journey so far.

He said, “Teachers should help children towards their overall personality development by making them imbibe the qualities of great leaders.” He said that primary education was the foundation for the personality development of children. Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee vice-president N Tulasi Reddy said the Ushakiran School has aptly kept pace with the rapid developments.

He said the school aims to empower each student to grow as an independent, self-motivated, disciplined and a responsible citizen. Correspondent BS Ramana Reddy highlighted the activities and achievements of the school. The cultural programme hosted by TV anchor Srimukhi saw the participation of students from nursery to high school.

Students and parents participated actively in the silver jubilee celebrations as their enthusiasm seemed infectious. The evening concluded with the spectacular fireworks display. Former Minister Vivekananda Reddy and other dignitaries were also present.
