YSRCP chief and the leader of opposition of AP Assembly, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Thursday along with his MPs and MLAs visited the office of Election Commission in New Delhi. YS Jagan took the matter of `Save Democracy' plea and complained to the EC over TDP attracting the YSRCP MLAs by inducements.

Jagan accompanied by his party MPs met with several national leaders regarding the party defections in the last two days and also sought an appointment with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. However, he is yet to receive a time slot with the Prime Minister.

The YSRCP chief gave the complaint to the EC in writing stating that the defectors had won the assembly seats on their party ticket which is the reason they should be disempowered by the commission. Post the meet, Jagan addressed the media and clarified that he would even approach the court for seeking justice on the matter according to the circumstances demand. Jagan even stated that he plans to write a detailed letter addressed to Narendra Modi on the issue.
