2 arrested for hacking accounts
Cyber Crime Investigation Cell personnel on Friday arrested two persons of a five-member gang for allegedly siphoning off Rs 85 lakh from the accounts of a Vizag- based businessman. The arrested were identified as Nayeem Abdul Karim Khully (43) from Nayanagar area of Maharashtra and Ajit Gopala Krishna Prabhu (64) from Thane in Maharashtra.

The arrested were identified as Nayeem Abdul Karim Khully (43) from Nayanagar area of Maharashtra and Ajit Gopala Krishna Prabhu (64) from Thane in Maharashtra.
The police said Guntur Venkata Durga Mallikarjuna Rao, director of Spirnt Exports Pvt Ltd, engaged in export of granite and seafood and a resident of Ramnagar area in the city, lodged a complaint that around Rs 85 lakh cash was withdrawn from their current accounts on October 20 and 21, 2015. The money has been diverted into five bank accounts. Police said that the duo hacked the bank accounts of Rao and siphoned off Rs 85 lakh. Police said that their probe is on to nab a few others in the case.
