Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu on Saturday participated in the `Water-Tree\' programme at Kuruvelli in Kurnool district where he stated that the farmers of Guntur district gave 34,000 acres of their land for the construction of the capital, Amaravati because of their faith in him.

The Chief Minister assured that he would certainly try to fulfill the dreams for Amaravati.

Chandrababu further addressed the issue of drought conditions and water crisis as he stated that there was no future without water. Hence, he asked everyone to participate in the programme. The Chief Minister added that there would be water for the future only if all of them save water today.

Encouraging the people to take up water-saving, Chandrababu called upon the people of Kurnool to make the district drought-free. He even assured that all the irrigation projects would be completed by the government and that all the villages would be transformed into smart villages with every household provided with a gas connection.
