Bread distributed to new mothers

Abhyudaya Social and Cultural Organisation distributed bread to new mothers at the Old Government Hospital in the city on Sunday to mark Mother’s Day.

Abhyudaya president Meenakshi, Inner Wheel Club Midtown president G Malleswari, TDP leader Anne Venkata Ramana, Government Hospital Development Committee president D Umamaheswara Rao, Andhra Arts Academy president G Narayana Rao, The Cultural Centre of Vijayawada CEO E Siva Nagi Reddy, hospital RMO Ramesh and others were present.

Earlier, they garlanded the statue of Mother Teresa on the hospital premises and paid rich tributes to the noble soul. Meenakshi highlighted the significance of Mother’s Day.
