Adressing the gathering PVRK Prasad, retd ias officer and the chief guest insisted that Brahmins should take the responsibility to keep up traditions and seek the welfare of the society. The celebrations was held at Ananthula Ramreddy gardens with former bureaucrats R Prabhakar Rao, and Aravinda Rao.
The excellency awards were given to Valliswar for journalism, RVS Savadhanlu for investigation, Nemani Subbarao for sampradayam, Ramyasri for magic, Siva Prasad for classical music, Balakrishna Prasad for fine arts, Nirmala for sports, Haragopal for education, Yanamandlasastryji for brahmin development, Aravinda Rao for admn and CVN Sastry for judicial excellency.
The celebrations also felicitated Pandey from Delhi, Anilsarma, Mishra From Haryana and Madhya Pradesh. The function concluded with mangalasasanam.
