TDP castigates BJP claims on financial help to AP

TDP senior leader Gali Muddu Krishnama Naidu came in support of Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu over the criticism he is facing on the issue of the special status category to Andhra Pradesh.

Addressing the media on Thursday, the TDP leader said that it was ridiculous to criticize the Chief Minister on the issue as the latter raised the issue time and again during his visits to New Delhi, demanding funds to the state to overcome its deficit budget.

Gali Muddu Krishnama Naidu further slammed the BJP leaders claim that the centre is extending financial help to the state stating that there was no truth behind those claims adding that their figures are false. He even questioned when the Centre allotted Rs One lakh crore to the state
