Minister Narayana assures AP Secretariat functioning from June 27
Andhra Pradesh Municipal Minister P Narayana on Sunday reviewed the progress of temporary secretariat at Amaravati and assured that the works would be completed by June 15.

Addressing the media at the location site of the secretariat, the Minister said that proper arrangements are in place so that rains do not obstruct the construction works and added that the administration from the Secretariat will begin from June 27.
He also addressed the issue of shifting AP employees, wherein he stated that 11,500 families of employees would be shifted to Amaravati from Hyderabad by June 27 but clarified that the deadline for shifting would not be extended as the extension would delay the shifting to another year.
Expressing that the governance is facing difficulties to function with ministers at one place and the employees in another place, Minister Narayana said that 4000 employees are being shifted in the first phase.
