CPI leader Narayana came down strongly against the Governor of two Telugu states - Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, ESL Narasimhan for lack of action when the states are fighting over the projects TS government is taking up on the Krishna and Godavari rivers.

The CPI leader appealed the Governor not to waste any more time and solve the river projects issue by meeting the two Chief Ministers. With AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu heading to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi on May 17th, the CPI leader urged him to raise the issue of Special Category Status further asking for a resignation if Chandrababu returns to the state without the Special Status.
