With the neighbouring state Chief Ministers had already met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi to discuss the drought conditions, Chandrababu has made an appointment to meet the Prime Minister on May 17. The Chief Minister will also be raising the special status issues in the meeting with Modi.

Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu informed that Chandrababu would be giving a powerpoint presentation on bifurcation to Narendra Modi in the national capital on May 17. The Minister further said that he along with Chandrababu would be seeking the Centre’s help for immediate drought relief for which they are preparing a detailed report followed by a discussion with officials on drought and bifurcation issues.
