ICET 2016 held
The Andhra Pradesh Integrated Common Entrance Test (ICET) 2016 was held peacefully in the city. In across 13 centres spread in the Vijayawada region, 6901 candidates have appeared for the test. As many as 7764 candidates applied for appearing for APICET 2016.

In addition to the local observers, the organizing committee had deputed a special observer for four examination centres put together. Candidates who couldn’t reach the allotted test centres were provided with a feasibility to appear at the nearest centre to them.
Candidates were strictly not allowed inside test centres after 10 am. Most of them have reached the test centres by 9 am, as suggested by the organizers to avoid last minute rush.
According to the regional ICET coordinator Prof Y K Sundara Krishna, “the examination was held in a peaceful atmosphere. The attendance percentage is also high.”
