Instead of celebrating the AP formation day on June 2, Andhra Pradesh will protest against the split of united AP and the injustice served to the state.

Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu spoke to the media in Vijayawada on Saturday where he announced that June 2 would be observed as Navnirman Day/Reconstruction Day. Chandrababu said that the Andhras could never forget June 2 and the Congress that was in power at the Centre brought the bifurcation and injustice to the Andhras.

Elaborating on the reason behind re-dedication, the Chief Minister urged the Andhras to show their anger and humiliation by rededicating themselves to the reconstruction of the State. He further said that AP has managed to stand on its own in every situation and that should be reflected by observing June 2 as Re-dedication Day.
